Life is Short: Do Stuff that Matters
I received some sad news over the weekend: a friend of mine suffered a stroke and died shortly afterwards. A successful solicitor and barrister who had just become a parent. They were in their mid-30s.
It doesn’t matter what you have going for you – life is fragile and you never know when it’s going to end.
Such a tragic event has reminded me of the importance of making the most of all aspects of life – at work and at play. The outdoors play a key role in this and I’m glad I’ve made them a priority in my life once more. There’s absolutely no finer way of escaping the stresses of modern life and helping you live your life to the full.
